In preparation for all the action April 7th-12th, some key members of the Arctic team have shared some of their favorite parts of FDIC conventions from years past, what they’re looking forward to for FDIC 2025, and where you can expect from Arctic Compressor this year as we partner to provide the best experience possible. National Fire Sales Manager
Brady has nearly twenty years of experience supporting those in the field of fire safety and prevention, the last five years of that with Arctic Compressor as our National Fire Sales Manager. Having been to over 15 FDIC conventions throughout the years, expressing what keeps him coming back was easy:
“Building long-term relationships and being able to spend time with those people at FDIC annually to find out what is important to our customers… making sure that we are industry leaders, not just another ‘me too’ product.”
While Brady loves the opportunity FDIC offers to network and socialize, he’s an active participant in the FDIC H.O.T. Evolutions, including last year’s training where Arctic Compressor debuted the launch of the ALL POWER Mobile Air Trailer.
Engineering Manager
Eric Nistler has had a huge impact on Arctic Compressor’s mobile air solutions as Engineering Manager and lead designer of the ALL POWER Mobile Air Trailer. Its first use in a H.O.T. Evolution at FDIC 2024 is a core memory for him:
“Last year (FDIC 2024) was my first year participating in a H.O.T. Evolution. We had the very first Arctic ALL POWER mobile air trailer supporting the training event called ‘Live Fire: Operating in the Flow Path’ at Bargersville Community Fire Department Station 202 in Greenwood, IN. Getting to see our newest product in action and performing its duty in support of this event was especially fulfilling for me… I’m extremely proud of our team and what we accomplished.”
While H.O.T. Evolutions offer an amazing, hands-on opportunity to experience new tech and learn systems and skills necessary in the field, one of the things the Arctic team is most excited about is the Firefighter Challenge League (FCL) 2025 Season Opener Classic.
For those who aren’t familiar, the Firefighter Challenge is a set of rigorous timed events open to all firefighters and meant to foster competitive camaraderie and push positive health goals for those in the field. Their three core mission values are:
The team at Arctic Compressor wholeheartedly agrees that the Firefighter Challenge is inspiring to watch. “The competitiveness of this event is amazing to witness,” says Brady who, like the rest of our team, has been to several of these competitions at past FDIC conventions. “I’m a big fan of watching the Firefighter Challenges,” added Eric. “It’s so impressive to see what people are capable of at the peak of human performance.”
